Landing in Portland a little over a year ago via LA & Chicago, Kenny is now happily living in Oregon. He uses playful colors, mixed media and cool textures to create abstract and symbolic art. Nothing too serious here - he hopes his sense of humor pervades.
Live Music: Derby
Derby songwriter, Dave Gulick is a pretty emotional guy. Just listen to any track from the band's 2008 sophomore release, Posters Fade, and you'll get a good glimpse of the multiple layers of emotional gravy that cover Dave's heart and soul. And if emotions and personal experiences are the ingredients of Derby's gravy, their meat and potatoes are The Kinks-meets-The Beatles britpop, dovetailed with smooth Beach Boys harmonies, punchy guitars and classic beats.
